His background in location and studio photography assignments informs him of a project’s technical demands. Additionally, his oil painting allows for engaging creative involvement in the exploration of form and color. He has crafted looks as a digital colorist on features, documentaries, and episodics for Disney+, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon, Fox Sports, and Vice, and includes Sundance and Venice International Film Festival’s official selects. His broadcast and award-winning campaigns for commercial and branded content has been seen in the Super Bowl and Cannes. His first conceptual art piece was created at age ten, painted in primary colors and influenced by Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice. When he’s not color grading or building a new computer system, he’ll either be painting en plein air on location in the mountains or the southwestern deserts or creating in his studio.
