Searching for Birds on Wires
Africa Creative and Abradee have relaunched “Searching for Birds on Wires,” inviting people across Brazil to photograph birds perched on power lines. Inspired by Jarbas Agnelli’s original 2009 artwork, which transforms the birds’ positions into musical notes, the initiative collected more than 10,000 photographs, identified 200 bird species and used the resulting visual patterns to create a collective musical symphony reflecting Brazil’s urban birdlife.
