Arctic Travel Company is a new Svalbard-based tour operator specialized in adventure & discovery tours in the far North. With the ambition of becoming the worlds leading portal for Arctic tourism we worked with Arctic Travel Company on creating a compelling and engaging brand identity. When fully established the Arctic Travel Company will consist of a range of independent companies making up a complete offering of hotels, arctic cruises and activities for all seasons. Rooted in values such as curiosity, sustainability and a heartfelt passion for arctic exploration we created a visual identity conveying the inherent beauty of the Arctic – and the company’s ambition to become world leading arctic travel operators. The identity plays with the colours and visual language known from rescue missions and survival kits coupled with a deep sense of professionalism invoking legitimacy and trust. Inspired by the compass-rose, the north star and the aurora borealis, the logo and typography is powerful and appeals equally to the comfort-seeking traveller and the more adventures explorer.
