Chip’s Offshore Gaming
One Twenty Three West’s (123w) latest campaign for BCLC’s PlayNow.com highlights the risks of offshore betting sites, positioning PlayNow.com as the safer, more secure choice. Centered around the fictitious Chip’s Offshore Gaming, the campaign shows how profits from offshore sites line the owner’s pockets rather than staying in the province. The launch video, directed by Michael Clowater of Radke Films, follows Chip flaunting his lavish lifestyle while making clear that offshore betting isn’t always reliable. Supported across radio, social, and digital in BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, the campaign emphasizes that PlayNow.com keeps money local, supports provincial programs, and ensures easy access to winnings, with creative led by 123w and media handled by Cossette.
