Brick & Portal shopping Website
Brick & Portal was created around the idea that virtual shopping doesn't have to be a lone undertaking. As an e-commerce platform that offers millions of high-end fashion products, it stands out by lettings users curate their own purchasable looks and allowing them to request tips and 'looks' from other fashionistas. They approached DigitalDesign.NYC to help bring this idea to life, from branding to development. In 2021, DigitalDesign.NYC updated their legacy client's branding, website and application with a minimalist and modern palette. Starting with a black + white canvas, they turned to a cool and adaptable teal grey and a vivacious tangerine to create a versatile palette that reflected the brand's ideals. The logo's ampersand was uplifted to become not just a conjunction, but a symbol of connection, in this case, between fashionistas shopping the Brick + Portal platform. The focus was on creating user-flows, interactions, and features that are useful and enjoyable to Brick & Portal's shoppers. As part of the development, they used several cutting-edge technologies such as data aggregation, machine learning, and parsing + filtration, all fusing together to bring to life an innovation in the Fashion Tech space.
