Kitty Kitty
De Staat – Kitty Kitty is a visually hypnotic music video for the Dutch alternative rock band De Staat’s 2018 single, directed by Wouter Stoter. The video amplifies the song’s themes of tension, repetition, and contrasting forces by placing frontman Torre Florim and his bandmates in a surreal dual performance that feels both chaotic and choreographed. Shot with minimalist precision yet designed for immersive spectacle, the piece mirrors the track’s relentless groove and pushes viewers into a loop-like visual trance where repetition becomes a mesmerizing narrative engine. The production balances controlled choreography with a striking visual language that blurs chaos and order, reinforcing the song’s hypnotic energy.
