It is a big decision to sell and buy a home, and there are many documents to deal with. The state of the dwelling is among the most important. The traditional condition report is the legally valid document that gives the seller and buyer insight into the condition of the house from the attic to the basement so that you know exactly what damage is and what to expect from maintenance and repair within a number of years. But it is time-consuming to get into the long paper report and get the necessary overview of the home for buyers and sellers, who can only read the description of the damage and do not move around in construction technical terms and technocratic language on a daily basis. There should be a faster, more efficient and convenient way to get an overview and understand the state of the home for the buyer who has been looking for the dream home, for the seller who wants to get rid of the home, while also giving brokers easier by demonstrating the home. EBAS has tested this thesis through surveys, interviews and in-depth interviews of buyers, sellers and other parties in the home buying process that came to the same conclusion: It is room for improvement. The Visual Condition Report (VTR) is a new digital tool where you can simply view the state of your home via your mobile or computer. Each injury and remark is illustrated with clear images and brief explanations so you can get an overview quickly and easily. In fact, it takes less than two minutes, whether you are a professional or brand new to the housing market. The visual report is digitally generated by all damage and comments being photographed by a construction expert. Each photo describes the damage briefly and simply so that everyone can see and understand it. The overall report is entered into an App, after which the seller receives the report. Thus, it has become faster and more convenient to get an overview and easier to understand the state of the home by seeing the case - for the seller, for the buyer, for the broker and, on the whole, all parties in the buying process. The product has been developed in collaboration with those involved in the housing market up to the end-user to create a product that caters to all parties involved on the customer side and the business side. Solution EBAS, the country's leading provider of state reports and energy labeling, has based on the needs of the target groups and is now ready with a supplement to the traditional report. The Visual Condition Report (VTR) is a new digital tool where you can simply view the state of your home via your mobile or computer. Each injury and remark is illustrated with clear images and brief explanations so you can get an overview quickly and easily. Thus, it has become faster and more convenient to get an overview and easier to understand the state of the home by seeing the case - for the seller, for the buyer, for the broker and, on the whole, all parties in the buying process. It is unknown that digital products such as these are nowadays in an industry where product development is regulated by law and is therefore slowly evolving. The product has been developed in collaboration with those involved in the housing market up to the end user to create a product that caters to all parties involved on the customer side and the business side. Result The Visual Condition Report was launched via a campaign on Facebook that, with two case videos (attached), was to demonstrate the product and create awareness among potential buyers and sellers. Media spend was segmented at several different ages, based on the 6 times of life, with further focus - and with particular focus on the last 3-4 times, where people are more likely to move into owner-occupied housing, or is at an age where they invest in parenting. The initial goal of the campaign was to spread the news about the product and get the most possible exposure to potential buyers for budget. Potential customers were interpreted as viewers who watched more than 10 seconds of the films lasting approximately 1 minute. The expectation was that approx. 5% of those exposed to the movies would see more than 10 seconds, thus being in the market for the product The campaign reached 416,247 people exposed to the videos 792,646 times. 35.5% of these people saw more than 10 seconds. That is, the campaign reached 147,921 potential buyers, thus exceeding expectations of approx. seven times. All through an advertising budget of just 50,000 DKK.
