Emergency Exit to Nature
Eden Project and ARK Agency launch “Greentime17,” a UK-wide campaign encouraging people to swap screen time for time in nature. At its centre is a six-by-three-metre “Emergency Exit to Nature” installation in London’s Canary Wharf, built from drought-tolerant plants and reclaimed timber in partnership with Creative Giants. Reimagining the familiar emergency-exit pictogram, the living wall replaces the running figure’s destination with a cluster of trees, highlighting research that 52% of UK adults spend less than two hours a week in nature. The campaign extends across OOH, digital screens, animated social content and video, promoting Eden Project’s goal of making 17 minutes in nature a daily habit.
