Sol and Grace
ESB and Publicis Dublin have launched a new brand platform called ‘For future us’, featuring an animated film that tells the story of 12-year-old Grace and her solar-powered friend Sol. The film centers on Grace, who feels her environmental concerns are overlooked until she meets Sol, an innocent solar panel. Journeying through the beautiful Irish landscape, Grace teaches Sol about his role in the world while discovering others committed to a sustainable Ireland. Produced by Piranha Bar and directed by Rick Thiele, the film uses a cutting-edge painterly texturing system blending hand-painted strokes with procedurally generated natural elements to create a handcrafted world.
