A national alcohol and pregnancy campaign has shifted its focus from pregnant women to the partners, family and friends who support them, highlighting how small acts can help create an alcohol-free pregnancy. The campaign features real couples, families and friends rather than actors, documenting pregnancy week by week before bringing the moments to life through colour, sound and movement. The films capture genuine, unscripted interactions and encourage practical support, such as providing alcohol-free options, avoiding judgement and choosing to go alcohol-free alongside a pregnant partner. Building on previous campaign research showing increased rates of alcohol abstinence during pregnancy, the new work will run across out-of-home, online video, social, radio and digital channels.
