Hungry will make online food ordering as easy, honest, and down to earth as possible. That's why they asked us to help re-think one of their most important channels: the app. Because when Hungry operates in a market where convenience is the basic premise and the product is digital, then an app should not just work - it must be the best of its kind on the market There can be great complexity in making something look easy. Delivery time, minimum price, reviews, and opening hours are useful information, but it is a great task to deal with when blood sugar crashes. With user tests, we found the perfect balance between important knowledge and alarming info, and even on a small screen, Hungry is now delicious and intuitive to navigate. There were microcopy and micro-interactions designed to reinforce, support, and acknowledge the user's emotions. That required a new brand personality, with humor and honesty at the forefront.
