After decades of strong brand loyalty, Imperia sought a repositioning to refresh its image, redefine Italianness, and engage new audiences, particularly in Italy and the U.S. The goal was a subtle transformation that maintained the brand’s iconic heritage while adapting to contemporary tastes. Our rebranding combines the brand’s rich history with modern, creative elements—using warm tones evoking ingredients like flour and eggs, and an illustrative style inspired by Imperia's machines. The logo evolves into a pasta machine roller, while bespoke typography and a 3D system inspired by Bruno Munari’s “Useless Machines” embody the new brand essence: Genius of form and substance.
