Dickov...Misses
Manchester City and PUMA have launched their 2024/25 away kit, inspired by the club’s iconic 1999 Play-Off final victory. The launch is accompanied by a short film, Dickov’s Nightmare, which imagines an alternate reality where Paul Dickov misses his dramatic last-minute goal against Gillingham, changing the course of City’s history. In the video, Dickov watches the original match highlights, falls asleep, and wakes in a parallel universe where the winning goal never happened, highlighting just how pivotal that moment was in the club’s journey to glory.
