One of the reasons pumping sucks is because data on nipple sizes just doesn’t exist (unless you’re trying to design the “perfect” breast, or an algorithm to censor women’s bodies on social media). Almost 70% of Australian mums will use a pump, and 80% of them will have a negative experience - that’s hundreds of thousands of women. This doesn’t sit right with Milkdrop. So they’re calling on women (you) to share one little measurement that could change the way the world is designed for pumping mums. If you’ve got nipples, a few minutes and a ruler, join our Uncomfortable Feed campaign and share your nipple measurements. You’ll be helping Milkdrop to build a global nipple encyclopaedia which will help change the conversation around why we need to consider women’s bodies when designing products that impact them.
