Keeping NYC Healthy
NYC Health + Hospitals is the nation’s largest municipal health care delivery system in the United States dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity, and respect, regardless of immigration status or ability to pay. NYC Health + Hospitals reached out to Big Drop to refresh its existing website. The main goal was to have a site optimized for search, bettering the find a doctor and find a location experience for users. In doing so, it was equally important for the site to have a clean and legible user interface with relevant navigation. In bringing NYC Health + Hospitals' new digital presence to life, Big Drop set out to highlight the true value of NYC Health + Hospital’s full-service hospital system. The website would be built to display the mission-driven hospitals, showing that employees work here to provide high-quality care to all patients. In order to make the site easier to navigate, we implemented an information architecture strategy that included a robust directory and search features. In addition, we created a site that displays highlights, factors in multilingual demographic content, and communicates all levels and ranges of services that the network of NYC Health + Hospitals provide throughout the nation. After implementing an information architecture strategy that would create a clean foundation for content, we then focused on creating a dynamic website to remain visually engaging with all end users. By incorporating short videos, we created a more interactive and easily digestible digital experience for users– breaking up text and keeping users engaged and informed. When focusing on lead generation, a primary objective for NYC Health + Hospitals was to create a user experience that clearly articulates capabilities to audience members and guides users to talk to a doctor. Through the use of proof points and testimonials, in addition to a robust information architecture, Big Drop was able to evoke a sense of trust from audience members, keeping users engaged as they are pathed toward the Talk to a Doctor Now CTA. Through this engagement, Big Drop was able to provide NYC Health + Hospitals with a robust digital presence that showcases their extremely cutting-edge and skilled employees.
