Material Appreciation: An immersive exhibition by ROOR.
Material Appreciation A holistic approach to curation, executed through an immersive exhibition experience by ROOR's Founder, Hannah Madsen. A full-circle experience curated to instil an ambient atmosphere with no boundary of language. The exhibition featured seven individual artists, from furniture design, to conceptual ceramics & sound production. Material Appreciation looked to fulfil all of the senses, and so the ears of the visitors were nourished by Cédric Elisabeth, through a set-list of aligned tranquil tracks. The curated sound adding to the already intense geluid of the space, perfectly set the scene for the ambient immersion of the artworks presented in the room. Material Appreciation featured a carefully curated selection beautiful artworks, furniture pieces & sculptural totems, styled in symbiosis with one another to instil a sense of calm when entering the space. The exhibition depicts a universe reflecting the aesthetic DNA of ROOR, and mirrors the values of which the founder, Hannah, wishes to uphold and stand by in all of the work she carries out for the brand. Co-Hosted by Siljangade Siljangade is a new co-working, co-living & everything in-between concept, where collaboration and co-existing is at the core. Rethinking the traditional workspace by enabling the residents to live and work in the same space. At Siljangade you can work, live, eat and everything in between. With 138 Studios and common areas, Siljangade houses a private gym, roof terrace, co-working area, lounge, meeting rooms, and their environmentally conscious eatery, the Kitchen. Siljangade is work-life optimisation at its best, and with a sustainable focus on the creative industry, the place houses a broad range of creatives from around the world. This is why Siljangade was the perfect co-host for exactly this exhibition, creating a full-circle to what was a beautiful source of inspiration and a meeting of creatives across the industry.
