Spoor has launched The Birdwatcher, an initiative that transforms AI-powered bird and bat monitoring data into a public-facing experience to show how renewable energy and biodiversity can coexist. Built on Spoor’s Sky Intelligence Platform, which uses computer vision and ecological AI to continuously detect and track wildlife around wind farms, the project replaces traditional manual observation methods with high-accuracy, real-time data that supports safer wind energy development and regulatory compliance. By converting this previously unseen monitoring data into an interactive microsite, social content, and physical AR-enabled materials, the campaign makes bird activity around wind farms visible to the public, reframing conservation not as a barrier to renewable energy but as intelligent infrastructure that enables it.
