To celebrate wagamama's launch on Uber Eats, the brands created Drift Deliveries, transforming takeaway drop-offs into a high-energy spectacle inspired by Japanese street racing culture. Selected London customers received their orders in a custom 340-horsepower, neon-styled 1998 Toyota Chaser driven by British Drift Champion Ollie Evans, turning an everyday food delivery into a memorable brand experience. Extending the activation nationwide, customers who ordered wagamama through Uber Eats during the campaign period could enter to win a year's worth of free wagamama and the chance to experience a professional drift ride at a racetrack. The campaign combined speed, entertainment and Japanese-inspired aesthetics to celebrate the partnership while reinforcing wagamama's bold brand identity and expanding its reach through Uber Eats.
