Blokequet
Most men will get their first bunch of flowers at their own funeral. And in a country where Kiwi blokes struggle to open up about their feelings, we’re having too many funerals. Giving flowers to each other isn’t really something a lot of guys do, but sitting down with a beer and chatting is, so that’s why we’ve brewed the Blokequet - a 2.5% hazy pale ale beer made with earl grey blue flowers, to help kick off those important chats. The Blokequet is a limited release and aims to help bring awareness to men’s mental health. While it encourages us to check in on each other and see how we’re really getting on, every can of Blokequet sold is also a donation to the I AM HOPE charity – helping to fund free counselling to thousands of Kiwis.
