Joe D’Ovidio is a Senior Assistant Editor with 15 years’ experience in broadcast and cinema commercials, alongside extensive work as a First Assistant Editor in feature film and television. He trained at Whitehouse Post in London before moving into freelance commercial editorial, working with Whitehouse Post, The Assembly Rooms and Trim Editing. In 2023, Joe relocated to Los Angeles, where he has continued working with leading editorial companies including Work Editorial, Cabin and The Den. His feature film and television credits as a First Assistant Editor include Polite Society, Timestalker, Restless, The Split and Guest House. Experienced across Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, Joe has worked throughout his career on demanding, high-end editorial workflows across commercials, film and television. Alongside his editorial work, Joe is also a director, with his short films screening internationally at festivals including LA Shorts, Fantaspoa, PÖFF and San Diego Comic-Con.
