Rokoko Smartsuit-II Mocap tests with MetaHumans over Unreal Engine 5
some tests done at PREICO JURÍDICOS using mocap systems from Rokoko (Smartsuit + Smartgloves + Face Capture + RokokoStudio). I also gave a try on a professional license of iClone. The goal was to assign motion capture clips to MetaHumans and iClone characters. Through the process arose some technical issues that prevented its progress (a low WiFi data transfer from the routers, and an excess of magnetism in the rooms that prevented the correct calibration of the devices, the project was suspended). I'm happy I managed to learn a lot from the process of assigning/transferring Mocap clips OnLive to MetaHumans, as well as the ability to animate characters by hand.
