Don’t Try
Ashbury's Don't Try video series is a collection of moving portraits and interviews that showcase the unique personalities of its Team Riders. Inspired by Charles Bukowski's poem Style, the series draws from the poet’s idea that, “Style is a way of doing. A way of being done. A fresh way to approach a dull or dangerous thing... To do a dangerous thing with style is what I call Art.” These short films present a range of individual perspectives that, when brought together, form a broader portrait of Ashbury’s creative identity and sensibilities.
