Globo’s campaign highlights the importance of professional journalism in an era of misinformation and information overload, positioning its news outlets as a “safe bridge between facts and people.” The first phase features a film narrated by Renata Lo Prete, showing audiences confronted with manipulated images and videos before revealing the reporters, editors and teams who work to investigate and verify the facts. The campaign encourages people to watch, listen and read while trusting professional journalism. A second phase, titled “Fact or Fake,” uses the telephone game as a metaphor for how information can become distorted as it spreads through social media and messaging apps.
