Following the teaser launch of its new AI.I platform, Itaú Unibanco unveiled a campaign by Africa Creative positioning artificial intelligence as a tool that strengthens, rather than replaces, human relationships. The hero film uses handcrafted techniques—including footage shot on film, a physically constructed AI soundwave effect and an analogue soundtrack recorded on tape—to reinforce the message that technology is most valuable when it enhances human connection. Playing on the phonetic similarity between "AI.I" and the casual greeting "E aí?" ("What's up?"), the campaign presents AI as a more natural, human way to interact with the bank.
