Classy With a Twist
In August 2018, the Copenhagen men’s retail store Goods has been in business for 10 years and wanted to mark the occasion with a complete rebuild and renovation of their store. Ever since Goods was established, Thomas Lykke has been a regular customer at the store so choosing OEO Studio as the partner for the store redesign was quite natural. Goods sells quality clothing and accessories that evoke visceral as well as tactile experiences. In the interior design we have therefore chosen to work with warm and inviting quality materials that age with grace, such as oak, brass and woven fabrics, which are balanced with a colour palette inspired by painter Alice Neel. All shelving, tables and cabinets are bespoke and designed for the store by OEO Studio and made by Danish craftspeople. Photography by Robin Skjoldborg. https://www.oeostudio.com/
