Migrating extensive SaaS site from Umbraco to Webflow
We were contacted by Denmark's largest SMS platform, inMobile, with a request to migrate their website away from an Umbraco CMS that had become expensive and cumbersome to maintain. The site was migrated to a modern Webflow CMS setup, with a focus on SEO, speed, and automations of page layout, allowing inMobile to simply focus on creating the best possible content. The results ## Sophisticated yet easy to maintain Webflow's refined code structure and flexibility made it easy to implement low-code solutions, resulting in a lightning-fast, compliant and technically sophisticated website. We have made everyday tasks easier by setting up reusable components and auto-generating content from information that already exists in the CMS (Content Management System). The challenge ## High demands for SEO, tracking, and GDPR InMobile had high demands for technical SEO, website speed, and GDPR compliance. ## Focus on content Their previous solution required a lot of manual copy-paste work when updating content across pages or setting up SEO texts. The process Initial assesment We began by conducting a comprehensive assessment of inMobile's existing Umbraco website. This involved evaluating the site's structure, content, functionality, and performance. We also collaborated closely with the inMobile team to understand their goals and requirements for the new website. ## Implementation strategy The next step was to devise an optimal structure within the Webflow CMS. Leveraging the platform's flexibility, we engaged in close collaboration with InMobile to determine the most intuitive and efficient approach that seamlessly integrates with their workflow. ## Migration With a solid plan in hand, we kicked off the content migration process. This meant moving text, images, videos, and other assets from Umbraco to Webflow, all while making sure the data stayed intact and looking sharp. ## Ongoing design and development To ensure InMobile stays at the forefront of their industry, we provide ongoing design and Webflow development services. This includes landing pages, and interactive elements that capture the attention of their target audience.
