The problem: The organization behind Ironman wanted to give the participants and the spectators a mobile platform to enhance communication and information flows around the events. The solution: An app that provides participants with valuable information before the event such as; course, checklists, schedules, etc.. And helps spectators to follow their favorite athletes on a map as well as through live coverage in the app. The technical setup supports the many requests within a very short timeframe to give the users a seamless experience.
