Elevating Danish Classics
Leckerbaer is a pastry shop in Copenhagen offering homemade baked delicacies, desserts and sweet treats – and taking the traditional Danish butter cookie to a whole new gourmet level. Owned by Swiss-Danish couple and Michelin trained chefs Jacob and Gabi Bär Mogensen, Leckerbaer makes everything from scratch and strives for the highest quality and honesty in the baking process. The pair have created reinterpretations of Danish classics, such as the lemon-flavored citronmåne and the raspberry-crammed hindbærsnitte, their signatures, alongside biscuits inspired by French choux pastry, New York style cookies and Swiss läckerli. Inspired by the geometric shapes of baking plates and cookie cutters, we designed a visual identity that embodies craftsmanship and quality – and presents Leckerbaer as something out of the ordinary. Bold typography, simple patterns and a muted color palette creates a distinctive, yet complementary setting for the delicate products. The visual identity guides the design of everything from logo to packaging, labeling, shop interior and signage. Inspired by the geometric shapes of baking plates and cookie cutters, we designed a visual identity that embodies craftsmanship and quality. https://re-public.com/en/cases/
