"I took the approach in creating an outfit that is less harmful for our world as the environmental issue is getting more awareness around the fashion industry. I focused on working with only ecological materials and I want to show that creating a design with natural materials can still be turned into an elegant and playful design. The full outfit is manufactured in linen, and the bottom part of the jacket is organza silk which has been dyed in a bath made out of avocado shells and stones. For trimmings I used buttons that are made out of recycled paper and added fresh water pearls which come right out the river." - Fashion Designer Loes Leijten
