Partnering with tattoo artists across the Mediterranean, the initiative created flash tattoo designs featuring lesser-known but ecologically vital marine species, transforming a popular aesthetic trend into a lasting symbol of environmental commitment. An interactive map helps people discover participating artists, while a competition encourages the public to get the tattoos and support marine conservation. Promoted organically through tattoo artists and environmentally conscious creators, the pro bono campaign highlights the beauty and importance of protecting the Mediterranean's fragile ecosystems without relying on paid media.
