For years, sexual harassment has been framed as a "you" problem—advice often centers on what victims should do: don’t walk home alone, drink less, sit far away. The conversation has largely revolved around the perpetrator and the victim. But what if the focus shifted to the bystanders—the community of witnesses who look away or downplay the situation? This campaign reframes sexual harassment as a collective responsibility. It emphasizes that while many experience unwanted sexual attention, real change depends on how the rest of us respond. Aimed at a younger audience, the campaign mimics the automatic, often passive reactions many bystanders have: smiling nervously, distracting themselves with memes, or quietly leaving the scene. These behaviors are presented as ironic “anti-advice,” drawing attention to the way people often prioritize maintaining a “good vibe” over confronting inappropriate behavior. The final message is clear: avoiding discomfort may preserve the mood, but change only happens when someone chooses to speak up—for others, and against the silence.
