The Spirit of Exploration
When people first read the brief for Montblanc’s campaign, they are deeply moved by the character Hugh Jackman would portray. Inspired by British travel writer Bruce Chatwin’s storytelling, they aimed to infuse authenticity into Jackman’s performance. As a lifelong climber, preparing for the shoot in Telluride, Colorado—a breathtaking location with rich natural beauty and even a cabin from Tarantino’s Hateful Eight—was a dream come true. Working closely with the crew, client, and agency, they captured powerful visuals and emotions that made this project a true labor of love, showcasing filmmaking’s ability to inspire and move people profoundly.
