Spreading health awareness in Nicaragua through hospital Wi-Fi hotspots
NiFi is a one-of-a-kind solution aimed at promoting health awareness in less prominent areas of Nicaragua. A highly engaging social initiative, NiFi has captivated us with its unique approach to healthtech and social awareness to an extent that we’ve completed the project free of charge, contributing to the promotion of healthy mindfulness across Central America. Launched as a part of international cooperation between Poland, the United Kingdom and Nicaragua, this project provides free access to WiFi hotspots across national hospitals. A user can connect to the network for 30 minutes upon reading a quick article on a specific healthcare challenge followed by a short test. User data is recorded for later use, and if the same person requests WiFi access in the future, they’re given a new piece of information on another healthcare issue. We are proud and grateful for the opportunity and for the trust shown to us.
