The project reimagines cranberry sauce beyond its traditional seasonal role by introducing it into everyday chicken shop culture through a playful, surprise-led activation. Disguised festive characters appeared in popular local chicken shops, rewarding observant customers with free cranberry sauce to pair with their meals, while social content amplified the hunt and brought humour and authenticity to the experience. By taking cranberry sauce out of the home and into high-frequency dining environments, the campaign challenged established food norms, created real-world buzz, and positioned cranberry as a versatile, year-round condiment. The wider ambition is to shift perceptions, encouraging both consumers and food businesses to embrace cranberry sauce as a natural, everyday pairing with chicken rather than a once-a-year addition.
