Get Your Own Way
Get Your Own Way is Subway's first standalone EMEA brand platform, built on what the chain has always offered: every sub made by hand, in front of you, exactly the way you ask for it. In a fast-food category drifting towards fixed combos, app-driven defaults and algorithmic upsells, the campaign recasts customisation as Subway's superpower. A pair of films directed by Andrew Gaynord follows customers whose ultra-specific orders give them ideas beyond the counter: one changes the channel mid-match at the pub, another turns a driving lesson into a supermarket run. OOH reproduces real Subway receipts and their customers' gloriously particular special requests, while a refreshed identity built from the shapes of the in-store ingredient "bains" brings a new colour palette, typography and photographic style to every touchpoint across EMEA. The platform runs across online video, OOH, radio, print and reactive news-led placements in The Sun and Metro.
