Worn Down By Words
Because of their understated and recurring nature, microaggressions have been likened to a gradual wearing down, often described as a death by a thousand papercuts. The "Worn Down by Words" traveling art exhibit was conceived to shed light on the detrimental impact of these subtle offenses and to promote awareness for The Micropedia, the inaugural encyclopedia addressing microaggressions. Inspired by the exhibit experience, accompanying plaques featured The Micropedia's mission statement and a QR code directing visitors to the tool for in-depth learning. The goal was to disseminate The Micropedia widely, fostering a safer society for everyone.
