Last Metal Standing
Commissioned by StuBru and developed by Mutant and nøcomputer, "The Last Metal Standing" emerged as a digital alternative to traditional metal gatherings that were halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This innovative campaign brought together more than 26,000 metal fans in the largest digital moshpit ever. Fans who voted for "The Heaviest List," StuBru's annual showcase of heavy metal music, received a spot in the pit through personalized metal avatars. This digital moshpit provided the metal community with a momentary sense of unity and togetherness. The event was live-commented on by StuBru and has since become an annual tradition due to the overwhelming success of its first edition.
