Cabinet of Love
The cabinet is a tribute to premium cabinetmaking and music – celebrating the ritual of playing music the old-school way. The Cabinet of Love was created for the tenth year of the Wallpaper* Handmade exhibition and presented during Milan Design Week 2019. The cabinet, created in a close collaboration between OEO Studio and Danish cabinetmaker Garde Hvalsøe, is made of smoked oak and with finishes in burnished brass, leather and pietra di Fossena – and then completed by a custom-finish Bergmann turntable, a Gato amplifier, and Dahlman1807’s vinyl bag and vinyl brush.
