Rivian Green is the signature color Rivian developed and standardized with Pantone, released in January 2026. Its roots are on the factory floor: during early R1 development the team was drawn to the raw green of the E-coat primer every chassis is dipped in before painting, a tone that shifts from deep forest to technical gray depending on the light. That green became Launch Green, the debut paint color, and then the starting point for how Rivian appears in its spaces, events and partnerships. Working with Pantone, Rivian evolved that nuanced, blue-undertoned green into an officially defined color standard, so it reads the same on a vehicle fabric, a retail wall, a printed graphic or a screen, and can be matched reliably by suppliers across materials and textiles. Rivian Green now serves as the foundational neutral of the palette as the brand scales up with R2, a color meant to connect people to the outdoors and the invitation to keep the world adventurous.
