AEG showcases the power of its N.E.W Favorit dishwasher in “You Can’t Go Back,” a campaign created by Publicis London and directed by James Hawes. In a striking demonstration of product performance, the entire campaign was filmed through a freshly washed glass lasagne dish, turning the appliance’s cleaning ability into both the message and the medium. The hero film blends suspense and humor as a man mistakes a spotless glass barrier in an art gallery for empty space, reinforcing the idea that once consumers experience truly spotless cleaning, “almost clean” is no longer acceptable. Combining cinematic craft with product truth, the campaign reframes dishwasher advertising through a simple but highly memorable visual proof point.
