Ontario Beef, representing Beef Farmers of Ontario (BFO), launched a comedic campaign encouraging consumers to ask their butcher for Ontario beef. Research showed that nearly two-thirds of consumers don't ask their butcher questions, often because they haven't thought to. The campaign, created by Toronto agency Bob’s Your Uncle, aims to empower consumers to be more engaged with their beef choices. It features three 15-second spots—“Penguin”, “Hiccups”, and “Which One?”—that run during the summer BBQ and holiday seasons. The campaign also includes social media content with real butchers answering questions, with more planned for the fall.
