Let History Say Thæ Exist
The campaign "Let History Say Thæ Exist" addresses the exclusion of gender non-conforming (GNC) individuals from written language in gendered European languages by introducing the letter "Æ" as a universal option for representation. Led by GNC individuals, it featured a limited-edition Posterzine with contributions from diverse voices in arts and academia, distributed globally across 30 cities and placed in renowned libraries. With a PR reach of 23.5 million and 1.5 million social impressions, the campaign challenged linguistic norms and provided a tool for GNC individuals and allies to promote inclusivity in daily life, from schools to workplaces and public platforms.
