The Move-In
The Foundation for Housing’s new film, "The Move-In," directed by Vincent René Lortie with cinematography by Balthazar Lab, redefines legacy giving by showing it through the eyes of its beneficiaries. Although 80% of people over 50 have considered estate planning, only 9% think about leaving gifts to charities, often due to unfamiliarity and fears around disinheriting loved ones. This poignant film tells the story of a family rebuilding their life thanks to a donor’s legacy, highlighting the immense impact legacy giving can have in providing housing, safety, and hope to those experiencing homelessness or extreme poverty, urging viewers to watch till the very end to fully grasp its significance.
