Calling All Heroes
adam&eve\TBWA and Merlin Entertainments have launched “Calling All Heroes” to celebrate the arrival of the Galacticoaster at LEGOLAND Florida and California. The campaign’s 60-second hero film, directed by Gary Freedman through MJZ, follows eight-year-old Jenny as she takes charge from her control room to guide engineers in averting an asteroid, bringing the ride’s interactive space mission to life. The Galacticoaster lets guests design their own spacecraft from LEGO elements—creating over 625 unique combinations—before virtually riding them to face the “Asteroid of Probable Destruction.” The campaign encourages families to collaborate as LEGOLAND space heroes and supports Merlin’s $90 million investment in the ride. Rolling out across online video, connected TV, radio, social, and OOH, the campaign continues through March with additional activations planned, and media planning handled by OMD.
