The directing duo decided to approach this story of sickness by following Marin's journey through malady, with a series of vibrant beautifully styled scenes and dynamic dance-hall style performance. The portrayal of Marin purging metal out of her skin was a combined effort between in-camera effects (thermography, make-up, lensing, set builds) and various post techniques, including point cloud photogrammetry, key frame scaling, multi media compositing, 2D animation, AI generation, and CGI.
