Voiceless Women
Human trafficking cases are seeing the light of day more and more often, and at the same time, the cases have become more serious. More and more women are being forced against their will to work in the prostitution environment. At the same time, we see a betrayal of the way the prostitutes are treated, and several forums have appeared on the dark internet, with users reporting on the women who were the trust pilot. The women are sold with the hope of work and a better life, but end up with disillusionment, mockery, and oppression in an environment where men control women for submission. It all takes place in the shadows and outside the public spotlight, where women cannot shout and are forced into modern slavery. We give women back their voice by letting them mime some of the extremely cross-border reviews read by a male voice. In this way, it is absurd that humans are still regarded as a commodity in our day. The names of the users who have written the grotesque reviews will be published along with the reading to highlight the reality that women are facing. We show the grotesque and absurdity in men treating and oppressing women who have involuntarily entered prostitution and the morbid approach these men have towards women. By exposing the men, the women win back their voice and can shout about the hell they live in daily, hoping to get away from it. We show the grotesque and absurd in men treating and oppressing women who have involuntarily entered prostitution and the morbid approach these men have towards women. By exposing the men, the women win back their voice and can shout about the hell they live in daily, hoping to get away from it. Result We got trafficking on the agenda and it was moved away from the shadows and out into the public. Specifically, this has resulted in NEWLIVES receiving five anonymous inquiries about suspected trafficking from the public. The women's struggle was made visible, and at both national and EU level, focus and pressure was put on politicians who could do something about trafficking in their country. NEWLIVES has had far more Asian candidates than ever before (numbers are not stated). It is believed that the police in Denmark have become more aware of several Asian victims of trafficking, based on public inquiries. Furthermore, the film has created a significantly increased approach to NEWLIVES's various sites compared to the previous years (figures are not stated). After 12 years of promotions and nine short films of his own, this film has had the ultimate impact of the good cause NEWLIVES is fighting. Compared to the impact of the other 10 countries that participated in the campaign, it has not been possible to get specific figures, but they have found increased activity.
