The World’s Most Extreme Unboxing
To launch ORIJEN™ FRESHPREY, Champion Petfoods and TDA Boulder broke away from the polished, kitchen-centric norms of fresh pet food advertising with “The World’s Most Extreme Unboxing.” Instead of a typical influencer reveal, they partnered with outdoor creators Wander with Willow to trek 12,000 feet into Colorado’s Red Mountains and unbox the product above the treeline, reinforcing a rugged, adventure-led brand identity rooted in ORIJEN’s WHOLEPREY philosophy and Biologically Appropriate nutrition. The campaign targets active, outdoors-oriented dog owners who value minimally processed, protein-rich food, positioning FRESHPREY as both a premium product and a bold statement in a category often defined by sameness. Shot on location in extreme conditions and rolled out across multiple channels, the campaign underscores ORIJEN’s commitment to quality and differentiation, with the product launching first at Petco before expanding to other retailers.
