In their inaugural campaign following their global ADV business triumph this past summer, Droga5 London collaborated with Royal Enfield to introduce their latest motorcycle, the Himalayan. Specifically engineered for the unpredictable conditions of the Himalayas, the new platform draws inspiration from the adaptive mindset required when navigating the renowned mountains. The comprehensive campaign incorporates a fresh design system, along with new photography and film elements. Directed by Academy Award winners Martin Desmond Roe and Travon Free, the film skillfully contrasts expectations with reality, illustrating the variance between planned routes and the unforeseen challenges posed by the mountains. Featuring CS Santosh, a professional Indian off-road and endurance rider, alongside Jesslina Nayyar, the film's music production is led by Grammy Award winner Lorne Balfe and Dirty Soup. Achille Mauri's photography captures this resilient mindset through rugged shots of the new bike in action against the breathtaking backdrop of the Himalayan mountain range. Additionally, editorial content for a launch 'zine adds to the visual narrative. This campaign marks the culmination of Royal Enfield's series of launch activities, including embargoed media rides in October, a full reveal at EICMA in November, and a final launch event at Royal Enfield’s Motoverse in Goa. Throughout this sequence, Droga5 London's design language and films have served as a backdrop. The campaign is now actively underway, with the motorcycles available for purchase in India from December and in Europe by the middle of next year.
