Windows
Windows by Take That, released in September 2023 as the lead single from the album This Life, is accompanied by a visually symbolic music video directed by Ben Tricklebank that portrays the band as caged birds, reflecting themes of doubt, isolation, and rediscovery. Each member appears confined and uncertain of their ability to “fly” again, but as they come together, they regain confidence and ultimately break free, reinforcing the idea of unity as a source of strength. The visual concept is tied together through a creative device of interconnected window frames, linking scenes and perspectives to mirror both separation and connection, aligning with the song’s emotional core of reunion and renewal.
