Drawing inspiration from a classic children’s book, the campaign follows the heartbreaking story of a mother and daughter enduring domestic abuse, told through the eyes of young Lily. The story reveals that the ‘monster’ is not a fictional creature but the father, shedding light on the grim reality faced by many women and children. The campaign, which includes a powerful film, OOH, social media, and the book, calls for urgent government action to properly fund specialist domestic abuse services. Created by Women’s Aid’s agency House 337, the film was co-produced by Merman Branded and Passion Pictures.
